Carla is a documentary filmmaker based in New York City, currently working as a senior video Producer/Director for Eater (Vox Media), where she has worked on a number of food documentaries.
She has been awarded a James Beard for her show “Handmade” and was nominated for a NY Emmy.
She previously worked as a communication consultant for IFAD (United Nations), documenting Latin American rural development projects.
Beyond producing and directing, she has extensive camera and editing experience.
